Elsa x 2

This is my dad's Oma. My mum and dad named me after her, she is great. It was nice to see her. She lives in a big house with loads of other Omas.

Canoeing

One of the hightlights of my trip to Canada was the day we went canoeing in Rockwood. As well as canoeing, we played games. Turns out I'm a pretty hot american football player.

The McMichael Gallery

My trip to Canada wasn't just fun and games, I got some culture too!
Opa and Oma took us to the McMichael Gallery which is full of Canadian art. They even had a special area for Elsa sized people. I liked the canoe. It was tiring, I had to powernap in the car afterwords.

I am 1!

On September 11th I turned 1 year old. This was great because I got to eat loads of cake! No fork or help from mum and dad - just fingers!
Auntie Nadine threw me a great party and I got loads of presents! I also got to play with my cousins Jocelyn, Megan and Andrew on the trampoline. Bounce Bounce!
Thanks Auntie Nadine, I loved it.

Riverside Park

On my first Sunday in Canada we went to the park. I got to ride on the railway, which was just like a real railway but smaller. My mum went crazy! After the train ride my Opa bought us all some ice cream. Opa did the right thing, Yum Yum.

Look out Guelph, here I come!

I am off to Canada tomorrow to see my Oma and Opa and aunts and uncles and cousins. I can't wait! I will try and post some photos so everyone can see what I am getting up to!

I lost my wriggle

Today when I woke up my wriggle was gone. Normally I am wriggling all over the place, so much so it is tough fitting a cuddle in! But today all I wanted to do was cuddle. Mum and Dad have been feeling the same way too- hopefully family Vandyke will be at full strength in time for our trip to Canada on Friday.

Arundel- Jewel of the South Downs

Mum and I went by train today to Arundel, to visit the magnificent castle and the pretty town. We had a great time, despite the non- stop drizzle. I loved all the shops and the special high chair i got to sit in at the castle cafe, and Mum liked the pretty kitchen garden in the castle grounds.

Dad's Bookshop

One of my favourite things to do is to visit dad at his bookshop. I love to crawl around and get myself into all sorts of trouble. Last weekend I got to meet Megan, who's mum works at dad's shop. Megan liked my monkey but I said she couldn't have it. I hope I get to play with Megan again.

Hello!

A Baby sister for me!

Excuse the blurry photo, but getting a picture of my new sister is pretty tough considering she is in my Mum's tummy. I am looking forward to meeting her, Mum says I will on December 17th, after she's done some more growing. Hurry up baby sister!

Elsa vs Banana

Standing Up

I can stand by myself now pretty well. I have tried to take a step, but am still quite wobbly!

Battersea Park Children's Zoo

After Portobello Rd. we went to Battersea to see the zoo. I got to see many animals like monkeys and lemurs. My favourite animals were the meerkats. I got to go down into a tunnel and see them close up in a special meerkat pod.

Portobello Rd.

On Saturday mum and dad took me to Portobello Rd to see the market. It was crazy but I loved it!I especially like the stall with the pretty white dresses.

Chatsworth

Last weekend Mum and Dad took me to Sheffield to see their freinds Stephen and Anje. We had loads of fun and they think I am great. On Saturday we went to the stately home called Chatsworth and roamed around the gardens. It was a lovely day.
