Today we went to visit the Silent Pool, which is a pretty lake in the Surrey countryside. It is a strange blue colour and very clear, making it a very eerie place. I thought it was very beautiful. It got quite muddy too- which was fun!

Goodness, Elsa! I go away for a week, and look at all the things you've done and all the things you've learned - to clean your own teeth, make cupcakes (did you save me one??), hold your beautiful sister, grow your hair long and find your way out of mazes! Yaya was away in Lima, Peru, and you won't believe this - it's summer down there! Yep! And really, really hot. And of course now lots of people in Lima have seen pictures of you and Ava, and they all said, "¡Qué niñas más lindas!" which means "What beautiful little girls!" And of course I said, "Claro!" Guess what that means!
